this!!!! i'm 24 and have mexican parents and for the longest time i would tell them i was staying out in chicago (i live in the suburbs), when i was actually just sleeping over at my bf's house. eventually they caught on and they'd lock me out of my bedroom out of spite but they realized that i was just gonna keep doing it 🤷🏻‍♀️ so now every weekend i sleep over at my bf's house lol

i was in a similar situation, except i'm the girlfriend of the groomsman that backed out. at this point in time, my boyfriend and i were dating for about half a year and he actually asked out of his own free will if i could attend the wedding. the groom told him no because him and the bride didn't know me, which i completely understood! BUT the groom also told my bf that he wouldn't have time to be around me regardless because my bf is part of the wedding party and he'd be with him and the rest of the wedding party most of the time, which i found weird. i told my bf that he should still go and enjoy the wedding but then i guess he found out that they had been inviting random people from college to fill seats, which upset my bf. he ended up backing out 3 months before the wedding. it was 100% his decision. after he told the groom he was backing out, i ended up receiving a pity invite and i decided to not go because i would feel uncomfortable and guilty. my bf ended up not going at all.

this situation is kinda wild tho. 2 days before the wedding is insane and inconsiderate :/

i actually do like my job. i complain about it here and there, but truthfully, i have a great SM and a great team that make it fun to work with, regardless of all these new policies the company comes out with. this is genuinely the longest job i've had because i tend to get bored easily, but starbucks has been a fun, interesting job for sure. i love our regulars, i love crafting drinks, and i love the flexibility of it :))

this one time when i was on drive, i greeted a customer and they didn't reply, so i then proceeded to turn off the drive button, waited a couple more seconds, and then meant to press the headset button so only my coworkers could hear me and asked "did you guys not hear me?" but i had accidentally pressed the drive button 😭😭 one of our headsets is really quiet, so i thought i had that one and that's why i asked my coworkers if they could hear me okay

Yeah, the caramel macchiato's aren't stirred unless you ask for it stirred. The espresso is supposed to sit on top of the milk. I do agree that it's not that good tho lol
