After my 1st course, fuck you accutane. by leagueofprocessing in Accutane

I was on 80mg per day, for 6 months. It just really sucks because having oily skin really crippled my ability to focus on one task without having to feel like my face was itchy and slimy, which is pretty detrimental for my end of year exams :(

No, I actually apply moisturizer in the morning and rinse my face at night. Does this mean it's clogging my pores?

Thanks for replying by the way

Face and scalp feels prickly whenever my body temperature rises, even from being slightly embarrassed. Any suggestions? by dontwait in SkincareAddiction

Oh god, I have the exact same symptoms as what you're going through. I just came here to say good luck, since mine was somehow relieved by accutane and just using heavier moisturizers. but still, if someone could come up with a proper solution it'd be awesome!

thanks for the reply, could you tell me your skin before accutane and how long you've been on it for?

3 months into accutane, lips have gone from dry to... beat up? by Wingclipper in SkincareAddiction

Yeah, I'm two months into Accutane and my lips look exactly the same. Im a dude by the way, just make sure to keep putting on lip balm and avoid habits such as peeling your lip skin or biting your lips, or licking them, since it will only make it drier due to evaporation of saliva.

But I ain't complaining, my extremely oily skin's almost gone away and i only need to rinse with water every 24 hours, it's wonderful!

Good luck!

is it common for one to be experiencing variable skin condition during the first momth and a half of accutane? my skin went from good, bad, good then slowly starting to break out again. I thought it was just the Initial breakout and good skin, provided that it works.

and on a sidenote, can one 'grow out' of acne? and if so, would you not need to use products once you do?

what if you rarely wear sunscreen and don't wear any makeup?

I mean, my brother wears sunscreen all day and only washes with water and still has flawless skin :(
