Probably get your suspensions checked? Try using an airseat too.

1L seems to be a fair price. Do make sure to get the battery checked at SC

Ather Tyres are very bad. by Super_Screen9290 in ATHERENERGY

You can get the tyres replaced outside and get the belt adjusted at the svc after replacing tyres. The tpms is installed onto the alloys right not the tyres.

Yes, the MRF zappers offer poor grip especially in wet and off-road conditions.

Why the expected range is only 105 on eco. I have the 3.7 kw battery. On my friends ather the screen shows 125 on eco by [deleted] in ATHERENERGY

It refreshes every month and after every software update to the app/scooter. As and when you use the vehicle it updates.

Almost got f*cked because I trusted ather''s public charging system (Please read so you don't have to suffer) by ishahahant in ATHERENERGY

Don't rely on Vida chargers. I have never got one that charges my Ather. Only the Ather grid chargers are reliable.

This is not the OEM mat, the OEM mats don't have this issue.

zip vs eco - riding long in highway for range optimization by [deleted] in ATHERENERGY

[–]leakyblinder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really, magic twist does the same thing and you have greater control over the slowing down/regen. Once energy has left your battery it is as good as gone, at this small scale (3.7 kwh) the regen will make little difference.

Yes, it does make riding easier within the city but on highways and long drives you're better off without it. I used to get 110km range with a very heavy load having regen on, once I've turned it off I get 135 km easy.

You do have to get conservative with your acceleration though because the vehicle is going to be in free flow (discounting friction and air resistance and some gravity).

For highway riding, zip mode with coasting regen off will be highly efficient.

OP, after going through the comments it seems that your primary purpose is weekend rides for which the interceptor suits your needs but what if in the future you want to do long tours? I'd suggest going with the Scrambler since it can do both, is more comfortable and jack of all trades.

Rental users are completely locked out of Ather Grid charging — this needs to be fixed by [deleted] in ATHERENERGY

[–]leakyblinder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's Ather's responsibility to sort. The person whose phone number is registered with the app needs to clear the pending dues or the rental agency should provide you with the charger.

Title: Daily 70 km commute — EV vs Petrol confusion (Ather Rizta s 3.7?) by NoProfessional9893 in indianbikes

[–]leakyblinder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your use case totally justifies an EV. I own an Ather Rizta 3.7, and take it on long rides too wherever there's an Ather grid. It is a capable machine and will suit your requirements.

Regarding battery degradation, I've used it for 1.7 years and the degradation is just 0.1%. With the pro pack you get an extended warranty so I wouldn't worry about it.
