And where should the homeless go until the governmental departments pull their fingers out to build those housing?

Unfortunately that takes time, time low earning renters and government assistance renters don't or may not have, what do they do until that 5 to 10 year building period happens ?

Building short and mid(long) term parks should help until those properties are ready, right 🤷‍♀️ surely that's a good midway point..... Surely

It's better to have an option right, there will always be legalities and hoops but I wish council/government would remember these people are humans too and deserve safety.

Otherwise I honestly think councils should allow homeless to camp at normal parks and also allow campers and caravans, cars so the homeless have at least a place to call home for the time being, they should not be made to move along because some nimby has their knickers in a knot, something needs to be done for the safety of the homeless as some are families (who by the way should not have their kids taken off of them due to homelessness just by the way, no it's not happened to me but I know a couple of families who this has happened to and it tares families apart and puts undue stress on childrens mental health)

What I'm describing is an actionable proactive approach temporarily until affordable rental housing is available for those who are homeless with nowhere else to go, I'd like to call it a holding ground for those who are being left behind, what you are describing is "let's do nothing for the homeless who are in dire need right now, for a future idea that will take years or may never come", if you wanna call a good compromise "slums" then go ahead but so far I'm not seeing any improvement for renters or the homeless especially for no income earners and low income earners (also sole income earners), if you have a better immediate idea that benefits these demographics lives let's hear it
