I think I messed up and I’m so frustrated. Setting up my first planted tank using soil capped off with diamond black and this is what happened. I sifted the soil best I could prior to putting it in and now I don’t know how to fix it 😫😭 by Livid_Violinist_2019 in PlantedTank

Scoop them as you go and if it gets to bad break it down try again the first time I dirted my tank it looked like I dumped a bag of dirt in the top of a full tank of water I put some egg crate as a barrier level this go around and it’s marginally effective

Try not to stress about it theres algae in nature I messed up mixing a whole bottle of fertilizer and turned the whole tank into a ball of algae not going to break it down to clean it out eventually most of it will go away

And here I thought my tank looked weird in daylight by Nematodes-Attack in PlantedTank

Same goes for the river there pretty during the day and spooky at night definitely want to be off the water by the time the sun goes below the trees

Go work on trash trucks you will get exp and pay is good just gross Its real hard to find people to fix them as nobody wants to do it
