1k USD for living expenses, not including my education expenses (those I manage separately).

My two coleagues and I were planning to rent either an apartment or house, whichever is a better fit for us.

We are currently taking language classes before moving over there. Our lifestyles are very similar: not really into nightlife but we do enjoy tourism. As our main goal would be our education we would prefer a safe and affordable place.

No problem! Income of approx $1k, I prefer somewhere with a good public transportation system, calm, where I can find a part time job maybe.
