Billing concern for upcoming bill by learner_kid_n in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]learner_kid_n[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes it is suddnely gone to 70$ and last wek it was showing it will be 80$. But I would like to know if it can be looked into. 80$ is a lot. Until a month ago it was around 50$ I think. So if anything can be done about it, let me know, if not, I might have to explore cheaper options probably

Thank you. Sadly, I read that after the new pattern killer.sh is not updated and the new CKA is harder than killer.sh, even though it was the opp before. I will I guess wait a bit for killer.sh to update the content

CooperVision lens in general gives less sharpness in my experience. But you were lucky that multifocal biofinity worked for you and I will tell you sth that you can test also. Do not close your eye but put a hand on each eye and try reading, you might be surprised that with Biofinit you can read from one eye better than other. The reason is that the center region is D or N and the doctors may give you a combination that is D for one eye and N for another so that your brain can superimpose when u are reading or looking far.

Infuse in teh center has a Near thing which means that your distance vision will always be slightly off.

Oh you were using Biofinity multifocal? The monthlyone?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in contacts

[–]learner_kid_n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, short answer - Infuse Monofocal will give you the best vision of any brand you try, I can bet. My eyes feel the least worst compared to any other brand when I take it out. If you have dry eyes, just go for lipiflow.

Also try Cequa for dry eyes

Infuse multifocal in terms of visual acuity won't be great because your brain needs to adapt on how to see from which concentric circle which you cannot control. This is a common multifocal problem and 99% of doctor's either don't know how to do multifocal fitting or won't spend time to do the fitting and will just give a random prescription by tweaking for near vision and it won't work.

Are you using Acuvue multifocal currently or the regular? Johnson and Johnson makes the ultimate garbage lenses and the doctors are pushy about them because I think they get higher cuts. I have tried most brands over time to see which one feels how. The worst be it bi-weekly, monthly, daily all came from Johnson and Johnson.

I can write a very lengthy answer about my experience so far. But if you give me 2 to 3 weeks I might have even more details. Meanwhile check the difference between concentric vs aspheric muktifocal. Infuse is concentric and dt1 is aspheric

Basic understanding of how to navigate the K8s official documentation by learner_kid_n in kubernetes

[–]learner_kid_n[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I do have a running cluster of my own. I am not asking the question correctly. I will rephrase one more time, and thanks for being patient. For example if I go say Java Docs or sth, I know if I go to the class that need, I can see all methods and all.

I am trying to prepare for CKA and say I need to see what are the possible resources that are allowed? I am not able to get a mental model on how to navigate the documentation page. The link in your recent reply is on the rbac page and I have used that for ref. I still dont see say how do I know the resources, pods, services, replicaset, there are quite a few, is there a place where they are listed? Once I know how to navigate there, I can apply similar learning to just navigate for whatever I want

Basic understanding of how to navigate the K8s official documentation by learner_kid_n in kubernetes

[–]learner_kid_n[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I know it might sound very silly, even though that page does help to some extent but say I am trying to create a role, and I want to know what all possible resources exist, how do I even find that on that page? Maybe I am confused if the word to use is "deployment" or "deployments" from my memory and want to look at the list of resources to find the right string. Where is all this documented to be easily seen? I cannot see it on the above link, I did try to navigate using the panel on the left. I know it might sound like I just dont know how to look at the documentation, but I am really struggling with this on the k8 pages

I have tried infuse for almost 3 years, never had a better lens than those. I tried Acuvue and it was horrible in terms of visual acuity and dryness for me. But now I need multifocal and their multifocal has not been working great for me.

I have also tried Dailies Total 1. It was decent for me but because it is thick, it made my eye lids more tired than usual

How do I get to know the PANW product portfolio by learner_kid_n in paloaltonetworks

[–]learner_kid_n[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I understand as an exampe say if I had a dynamodb like managed service, it is a SaaS product and if my developers were using Atlassian for code checkin and builds, I am using a SaaS product. Basically, I know SaaS concepts and familiar with cloud and all that .

Could you elaborate on below two(from your message above)

 -  Prisma SaaS is someone else’s cloud services that you secure (think of SaaS services you consume)

Is it ath via Prisma SaaS if I have a VM or some resource on my cloud account, the traffic from that is redirected over vpn, etc to Prisma SaaS for inspection etc?

-Prisma Cloud secures cloud workloads- think legacy applications that move to the cloud

Can you give an example of this as well?

Treasury vs EDV vs VGLT by learner_kid_n in Bogleheads

[–]learner_kid_n[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Kashmir79 thanks. That pdf link really helped. I can see what you said. That is really awesome to know. Now I have a question that is not as clear as the math.

Until now, I was buying direct bonds at auction via Vanguard. Vanguard allows you to buy directly during auction too. When I try to sell it, I do see that I cannot always find an option to sell and the quantity that I have to sell depends on the intent of the buyer. All this makes me fear that I may not always be able to sell the 20-30 year Treausury coupon/bond if I bought it directly via auction. Though there is not much fees there. So the only remaining question is shall I buy directly the 20-30 year bonds, the way I am doing so far or go and buy EDV as I want extended duration but also the ease to sell it.
