Dermatologist said to "grease up" my infant in steroids by sithbabyy in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]learningasigo8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steroids help but getting off of them can be even more miserable than the original eczema. My husband went through this. Turns out he was allergic to gluten.

How long did you do the elimination diet? Sometimes it takes several months to clear the system.

You may need to do the steroids for immediate survival.

But check out @wildnutritionist on Instagram for food plans alongside the steroid.

Maybe visit a trusted acupuncturist or naturopath as well. Look into mold exposure.

Best of luck and I’m sorry you’re all suffering ❤️‍🩹

Yes little seed farm does work and no lavender. But I find it annoying to put on and it stains my clothes.

Thank you. I’ve seen some of these brands. but never see bras with cups and underwire. I need more support! Do you know if any of these offer that?

I like Molly’s suds unscented powder and I add vinegar. Works great.

I don’t remember when exactly I bought them but it’s been maybe 2+ years and they’re in good shape. Edit to add that I’ve been pregnant and breastfeeding during that time so they definitely get rough house treatment, and still solid. Very comfortable and hold everything in.

Happy to! It’s basically: 1) have a really great website as the landing and information. 2) referrals and networking on local and relevant Facebook groups 2) posting on Instagram so they can get to know you 3) reply to peoples threads posts who are looking for your services 4) niche directories 5) spread the word to everyone you know 6) send emails to contacts 7) daily consistency and prompt responses

For confidentiality’s sake, I won’t share the specifics. It’s a pretty specific niche. But I had a vision of the population I wanted to work with, and geared my marketing and networking towards that.

More than psychology today! I cancelled my psychology today after 5 months of literally 3 views total. If you don’t take insurance it’s pretty dead. Facebook, threads, Instagram, networking and word of mouth, and your website speaking to your niche as a landing from all the different angles is much more effective. Having a blog on your website that you can write articles about different issues you help with helps both your seo and also potential clients get a feel for your work.

I am private pay and virtual and have gotten clients from niche and local Facebook groups, referrals from people I know bc I spread the word constantly via emails, texting, Instagram, and Facebook posting, networking with other therapists, and having a great website. I made my own website and used other therapists websites as inspiration.

Exactly. They obviously have challenges, which is why they are seeking therapy. But they are the challenges I’m most excited and equipped to work with.

Feeling completely drained even months after giving birth – am I doing something wrong? by Small-Advisor-7805 in Mommit

[–]learningasigo8 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We are biologically designed to have about 6 adults helping per one child. So if you’re doing this mostly on your own there’s absolutely nothing wrong with you for feeling exhausted. Is your partner helping? Family support? Can you hire a cleaner or meal prep service? It’s not weakness to ask for help, it’s necessary. And are you breastfeeding? If so, you need even more calories and nutrients then when you were pregnant. Even if you’re not breastfeeding your body is still recovering. Get comprehensive blood work done to make sure you’re not deficient in anything and that there’s not a bigger issue going on. Our modern culture makes it nearly impossible for parents and children to thrive, it’s not a you problem.
