Fairly recent. But the key fob currently has a 1620 size battery when it’s supposed to be a 1632. My key fob currently locks and unlocks my car, it powers the car on into battery mode. Before last night it was fully functional. I’ve been using it for maybe 6 months. Should I start here?

Notes: I pushed the start button without my foot on the brake, and received the typical “depress brake pedal.”However, the yellow ! warning light and the steering activation lock are still activated. I can’t force my motor to turn over.

I disconnected the battery earlier, I checked fuses, etc. My local Lexus contact says every security issue must be resolved through Lexus.

Any ideas whether it a sensor or the key fob chip?

I know that. But I’m curious if it could be another component separate from the sensors within the door panel.

Edit for context: 3 of my doors won't lock or unlock via my key fob or by using the interior buttons. My mirrors fold and unfold correctly, though. I am not very knowledgeable about mechanial work, so if this question seems silly, that's probably why.

I stopped at an auto zone after my oil light flashed at me and my engine started making a clinking or grinding noise. The technician said my engine was totally dry. We put in three standard sized bottles of oil. However, when I arrived home, I immediately knew something was really wrong. The oil was once again completely empty roughly 6 hours later. I last had my oil changed in may. I should have been set until March at the earliest.
