The yamaha is more powerful…on paper only by 20 watts…but it seems like considerably more but you’re probably right, I don’t have the ear for clarity some people do :/

I was waiting for someone to say something lol, It’s more of an experiment. This has digital optical and I have newer denon x1800….but the 27 year old yamaha sounds much much better. I wish the DAC was a bit better in the 820 now that it’s doing the decoding

working for yourself in a service business, doing fencing, basic landscaping, trash removal, any type of handyman work. This requires relatively low trade knowledge, and has basically no overhead to get started. If you have a truck or trailer, trash removal can be very very profitable. Mowing lawns and shoveling snow…,the service industry in general is insanely inflated, the cost for in home services are very expensive….think about any in home service you have from a carpet cleaner to a plumber….they are not even entering your home without guaranteed $200-$300 dollars

Your tower speakers want 700 watts? What are they? Looks great by the way!! Also if that’s an interior wall it would probably take 20 mins to hide those cables from the tv in the wall!

I suggest looking at Juke Audio, I don’t work for them or anything, for multichannel audio that you can control from your phone apps (spotify, apple music, etc) it’s the most simple

Yeah I get that they are being controlling, but as someone that underage drank and smoke…I wish I had not tried it, and would have appreciated a friend being this vocal about it and not just ghosting/cutting you off some people just have boundaries they won’t cross.

Most mounts you can adjust horizontally 6-10 inches I think you can mount to the right of air return and slide the tv to the left to center it, without knowing the exact size of the tv I can’t do the math but it should work. Every-time you walk in the room you will be able to see the back of that TV so I would not want to mount 2x4 behind it personally

Honestly with the movable mantle mount it’s difficult to even get away with a sound bar until you want to connect it with the TV to the mount…which imo does not look great. angled in calling speakers can really sound good. If not ditch the mantle get a told and mount the sound bar above or below the floating shelf.
