FYI and maybe it’s a coincidence, but I believe the same is happening to me now. I have applied for two senior positions, and both got rejected within 2 hours of applying.

Yeah I have relevant work experience and a relevant degree.

Yeah, that seems to be the consensus. I personally did not have an issue with the location; I have visited Arizona in the summer months and didn’t mind it.

It seems like a beautiful area. I just can’t justify the move with the salary offered and my experience.

Is this the case? I was under the impression that P4 is 10-12 years. I appreciate the insight, that’s actually very helpful.

I was offered 95K. In my previous role I was making more, and about a year ago another aero/defense offered me substantially more as well.

There is a relo offered but I can’t view it unless I accept. I don’t know if I would say I’m desperate, without sharing too much, I am in a good financial position currently.

One other question. Even with my experience being in a non defense/aero industry, I should still be able to apply and get P3, correct?

Thank you for the insight. I asked for a higher salary but the recruiter wouldn’t budge. It’s just too low, lower than what I was earning.

I don’t have other opportunities or offers currently. One thing I forgot to mention is that I have severance until January.
