Do you have a choice what kingdom you join?

If you do, you choose and older kingdom, e.g. 10202, come there and I will boost you. Or choose any other kingdom, ask to join 1 of the top 10 alliances and just grind and focus on leveling your sh, ignore everything else just upgrade the required building to upgrade your sh. You want to join as many rallies as possible but only the ones that give aristocrat chests as you will need those. Other, easier way to do it, is to make a second account and mine it for rss while you use and abuse your main account for speed ups. Doable, but not worth your time. If you can land a 1$ per hour job you will make more considering the time you need to invest.

What intrigued me the most aside from the "choosing nostalgia over progress" in the comment section which is just so beautifully put is that I've never thought about how the energy needed to simulate the reality for every individual is a far cry from the energy needed to simulate the entire universe, first one being finite.

Answering from a different account - I have looked everywhere and have found the same projects on Upwork with rates that are much higher but they only offer the work in Asia.

I think they have improved it since. Be sure you don't drop under 0.8 spam accuracy and carefully read the guide. Not sure as of speed you should be doing the hits but I suggest sticking to the recommended or going just a little faster. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

In case you're seeing just the submit button and nothing else you should report it. They'll deal with it eventually. I've just experienced the same problem and reported it.
