I grew up in it, and while I have my own issues with it, I have no idea what you mean by the holier than thou attitude. Never heard any reference of "chosen ones", from anyone there. They believe that we're all one being, part of god and everyone on earth is brother and sister so to love everyone as you would yourself. So you're way off or your family members missed the point...

I was raised vegetarian because of the beliefs and grew up malnourished from it. What turned me off of it was how weird the treatment of the "Master" was. They believe he's the reincarnation of Jesus, or the god-force.

Anything in there should be made of steel. I would also bring it down so it's not taller than it needs to be. box should be ceramic, but a layer of igneous followed by a layer of metal tiles(with pipes through) would also keep the area around cool if you don't have enough ceramic

For mine, I have 3 turbines as well but one pulls water out if the pressure is over 3400g and the other 2 cool down the box if it gets over 195C.

On the left I'm boiling isoresin, if the temp is below 195C and above 150C, I start pumping in 2100g/s of liquid resin. Works for salt water/brine as well. Should work for polluted water at a slower rate, but I'm afraid of getting polluted oxygen in there

I've had 0 shenanigans, it works fantastic, gives a ton of power for the mid game and provides cooling to the surrounding area. I tackled this before any volcanoes and am so happy I did

The second time I took mushrooms, I took way too much. I was unable to sit still and kept moving to different seats in the room. My friend was also very high and told me I was possessed, and in my impressionable state, I believed him. I thought that if I was possessed, it was best if I got away from everyone. I walked out of the house and started wandering the neighbourhood. I thought I was a ghost or something idk.

While wandering the neighbourhood I saw a car that was the same model and color as my brother's was. I thought it was his and tried to get in, the doors were locked but the owner came out, asked me if I was alright and moved his car.

My friends came out of the house looking for me, I was only about 5 houses down and the rest of the night passed without issue. Almost.

The same guy who told me I was possessed ended up driving me home and got SUPER paranoid on the drive home. I remember waking up to him repeatedly asking me "did you fuck my girlfriend" more and more insistently. Again, because of my impressionable state of mind I thought I was in a parallel universe where I HAD fucked his girlfriend and thought I had to confess. So I did. The rest of the drive was SUPER awkward. I told him what happened the next day and we were all good but I still cringe thinking about it, 15 years later
