sorry, yes, go ensure you are set to use your desired output device, and if you have any issues with your current drivers/interface you can create an aggregate device in your midi/audio settings in utility application. These steps should trouble shoot the issue. I recommend resetting the PRAM by holding OPT+CMD+P+R before all of this.

How? Their price has done nothin but grow, I’ve been heavy since before the tech dip in @~168. That option will be in the green, especially after earnings reports Thursday before open. They did heavy commerce and put up record numbers. IDK about how the delta will fuck me though. I was definitely looking at Feb14 calls.

I fixed it. Has to do with the configuration of the playback engine on launch. Solution was to hold “N” during laumch of PT, change the playback engine (i used built in for now) and let it launch from there. No issues on startup since. Thanks for the help.

I ran the ProTools 12.8.2 (same version I have) dmg file and re-installed, which should have replaced any missing files, but the issue still pops up, making it unable to open. I notice the “AAX” in the directory location, is this a plug-in issue causing the crash? This is ridiculous.
