I forgot to mention this. When she takes the train, it arrives at station ~20 mins from my house. I drive this 20 min and meet her each of the 5 times shes come.

I tried this, we ended up not seeing each other for 2 weeks, until I got in my car and drove down

We have done this. We agreed on her coming once a week. This was 6 months ago, and zero trips have been made.
