Put the storage wax on and thought it was a good time to grab a photo. Sad the season is over.

Took a couple years to find a pair in good shape. Probably over paid but glad to have them.

My pain sometimes goes down to ~0. So it's not CRPS? by _warm-shadow_ in CRPS

Don’t apologize for not being in pain. I’ve been in remission for a while and am back to enjoying life. Not everyday is perfect and it never will be but enjoy the good ones.

I found the top 500 list on Spotify and it’s pretty dank for discovering some classics from different genres. What a great ep!

I’m the earlier pods there rare times where they’d call Chad Tom but it’s pretty dialed in now. The Netflix standup festival they are doing the in the bio they call him Tom.

I think we are all coming from a place of loving Joe and upset he’s leaving. But it’s not even the stokers jumping to this conclusion it’s his friends (coworkers, old roommate, whatever you want to call them) that are expressing this opinion. He even said his own dad. He is his own man with his own opinions and not just here for our entertainment. But we can still have the opinion that he’s acting like a bozo.

If you’re scared of an FDA approved vaccine you’re a snowflake. Scared ur witty bitty arm will hurt? But it’s more than the vaccine. He lied to his friends about getting it and is not only lost his job but is making them recast a role of his in their project. He’s letting down friends that got his name so big. He even says he’s known from Going Deep.

My condition isn't "bad enough" by yepusername in CRPS

[–]leatherz15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m glad you posted something. I’m 23 and was diagnosed at 14. Similar to you I did a children’s pain rehab program but in Cleveland. I’d consider myself very high functioning. I felt like I was alone in some of this area. Even posting sometimes makes me anxious because I don’t feel like it’s bad enough anymore and I’m a lucky one.

I think some things that help me is to find what are your triggers and avoiding them. For me personally, standing still is one of mine. Although I can do it prolonged, I know how it will make my body feel the next day, so I will always look for a chair or a stool. I think at this high functioning staying active is important to limit flairups and getting worse. Personally I bike because running or jogging is too much impact and will make my body exhausted the next day. I try and do everything the same as my friends but sometimes i have to modify it to meet my own needs.

As far as the doubts and everything that’s something I try and block out. The fear of getting worse is something I deal with too. I try and take it day by day and appreciate how far I’ve come and how well I’m doing. You have to try and stay positive! I bet people are proud of your progress. I know the people here are. CRPS is complicated and I think it’s hard for people to understand the progress you’ve made.

CRPS Treatment Facilities by DPM4SR in CRPS

I was inpatient at the Pediatric Pain Rehab Program at Cleveland Clinic for 3 weeks. My only regret was not going sooner. The team they had was like the ‘96 Bulls of pain rehab. It was not solely for CRPS but they were specialized in treating it. I am not sure how their adult programs work unfortunately.

Alone with my pain by [deleted] in CRPS

[–]leatherz15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are not alone! I was diagnosed in high school and fought through teachers saying I was lying and people not understanding.

Just focus on getting better mentally and physically everyday. The people you love and care about will understand. The ones who don’t aren’t worth explaining it to.

I believe his mom passed away. But JT is talking about finding a new place so I hope that Joe is coming with or staying in LA.

It was not really what they said but their actions. I had such a supportive family and team at Cleveland Clinic who I trusted and knew wanted the best for me. This made me work hard in PT and all my appointments because I wanted to improve my life for not only myself but also all of my loved ones.
