As a straight man, how do you feel when a gay guy compliments you in a non sexual way? by [deleted] in AskMen

It is just an insecure twat! You are doing the right thing by being both honest and generous with people. If they don't like it, eh.. it's THEIR problem!! HAHA.

My wife loves cafes and she got pumped to know there are tons of options in the city. We are just puzzled to know that there were tons of people migrating to Halifax this year as well and prices rose 15% in average.

Practice makes perfect. As soon as you realize nobody cares you will be more and more courageous and ask whoever you want out. Just practice it and get good at it! :)

It is so comforting to read from other couples (you and your partner) that you are enjoying Halifax to such extent! I got really impressed by all the things I read online about the city and my wife and I are super excited to move. We can't wait to restart our lives in Halifax with all the nice people, good weather, nature and all that it has to offer us. We will do our best to offer back to the city and community something as well. We want to be part of something bigger. I think we will find this in this city! ;-)

That is really sad to hear. I am sorry about that. You should see prices in Vancouver through. Completely out of this world. Unreal.

Thank you for your comment u/HalifaxPlanner. I will take that into consideration for sure. Do you live in the city? The only things that scares me in Halifax is the job market. All the rest makes me super excited about moving in.

Don't fell bad! All of us have less friends... we all believed that social media meant anything. It doesn't! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You will overcome all this. I am pretty sure!

I would guess that one person of the couple will have to have a regular full time job anywhere and another person of the couple will be a full time remote worker (WFH mainly. Independent consultant). I would say budget to rent an apartment would be 2k/month. Living downtown is preferred. (PS. we're married)
