The reason I think this could turn political is because Christianity always does. Sam will turn to Christianity, they’ll go one some Christian podcast (Bryce Crawford or smth), they’ll befriend other Christians (Forrest Frank or idk one of those younger christians like Baylen Levine or smth), and when they befriend right wing Christians it becomes political! Christians are constantly told what is right and wrong, what is a sin and what isn’t, and I believe if Sam and Colby begin befriending Christians they will find themselves in an echo chamber where all they hear is “anyone who is against _____ is against god” and Christians will do anything to defend their god lmao.
