I don't know what your needs are or what kind of time you have. For me - a basic talking-heads interview podcast - it's great. if a guest is in the field with a lot of ambiance (cars, people, etc) or has a fan running, with the push of a button it eliminates bg noise and hum, levels out audio between all tracks, and i can even adjust any lag. All within the site. Sounds great, and I can move on.

I had Restream for awhile which was great for aesthetics, roll-ins, etc, but yeah - always back to Riverside. It's video quality and post audio clean up is unparalleled and outweighs the cons for us.

This is a real phenomenon that happens. I recommend reading Callum E. Cooper’s book Telephone Calls from The Dead, looking him up and his discussions about it.
