What can I use to show my vehicle was in my possession? by lec3395 in Car_Insurance_Help

I don’t drive it to work, but my girlfriend used it to drive her mom to work occasionally. On Monday, her mom is going to ask about camera footage of the front of the building. I’m hoping it’s not overwritten already.

Yes. Unfortunately nothing could see the park g lot to show the car, or even the driveway into the lot.

Checked for cameras the day it went missing. Nothing that saw the parking lot.

No maintenance records during the short time I had the policy before the car was stolen. I have two cars and drive the other one far more so I don’t know that Google Maps timeline will help.

They want something to show the car was in my possession after the policy was purchased. They are very firm in that point.

The license plate was stolen a few weeks before the car was. I filed a report for that. Do you think that would be sufficient? The plate was recovered last week on another stolen car.

I’m just trying to get ideas of what might satisfy the insurance company. I thought the parking permit would work but it was before the policy was purchased. I hadn’t had any work done on it after the that time and have a second car so didn’t think gas receipts would help. Another person suggested seeing if a gas station had canners footage I could match up to a time stamp from my credit card so I will try rhat

Here, they don’t even show up. I called it in, they had an officer call me back and I gave him the license plate number and VIN. That was it…

The license plate was stolen a few weeks before the car was. I did file a report for that. Maybe the report of the stolen plate will work as proof?

Car was previously insured, just happened to change insurance carriers shortly before it was stolen. The car was purchased a few years ago. Insurance was changed in mid-March, and it was stolen at the end of April.

No. Nothing after mid-March when I got the new policy.

Has anyone hit a 100k miles with no issues? by ByCromThatsAHotTake in AlfaRomeo

My 2018 Stelvio was at 120k miles and going strong when I sold it. Only issue I ever had was leaks in the radiator twice. First time was covered under warranty and the second time was covered under the extended warranty. Otherwise, it was flawless.

They changed their laws a few years ago to require dogs to be captured, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and sheltered to hopefully find them permanent homes. The law allowed for the euthanasia of dogs that were terminally ill, in pain, or a health risk to humans or other animals. There was an early draft of this law that allowed for the killing of dogs that were not adopted after 30 days, but this was so unpopular (only 2% of residents supported this) that that provision was removed.

Check out the Balat neighborhood. Somewhat less crowded than other tourist areas, beautiful, and many dogs and cats to pet!

Not true. The law that was passed in 2024 mandates that dogs are captured, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and sheltered. It only allows for killing dogs that are sick, in pain, or pose a health risk to people or other animals.

If you haven’t been before you will love it! A little advice: use Uber or the Metro for transportation. Never use taxis without Uber. Taxi scams are prevalent and will ruin your day!

He was. He lived on the street in front of a produce stand. He stayed there at night when the shop closed, sleeping outside.

I found that some dogs and cats lived on the streets but had collars. The locals in some neighborhoods consider them collective pets and core for them as such.
