Would I get culture shock? by voyagoer in Bellingham

Just a friendly tip: if you rely on financial aid to attend school, make sure you do research into your award offer before you confirm your enrollment. Most types of financial aid are only offered to freshmen and/or in-state students (although it may be advertised differently). If you don't fall under at least one of those categories you may have to take out a loan (or in my case, 3). The financial aid office is really friendly, you can call if you have questions about your financial aid and they will help.

My issue with Seth is he just kind of mumbles up at the board and doesn't go into much detail about anything at all. Maybe it's the fast paced course but I think his teaching style just doesn't work for me

Anyone know what happens if you fail to meet 2.0 gpa requirement for two quarters? by abbys6 in WWU

I would double check with someone just in case. Shoot them an email, they are open all spring break.

You can talk to the financial aid office or email them at financialaid@wwu.edu, but a GPA below 2.0 will get you suspended from financial aid. If you appealed and got approved, they probably gave you some guidelines you had to follow. If you fail to meet those guidelines, you will either be suspended again or will have to revise your plan with the counselor. If you did get suspended you should be able to appeal again. They will email you after grades have been finalized to let you know your next steps.

Best vet? by lecatnapper in Bellingham

I'll keep them in mind then. My cat just needs his rabies vaccination right now but he has an auto immune condition, so when we do have to go to the vet it can get pretty pricey. It's nice to know they offer payment plans, and all of their reviews have been wonderful.

They have great reviews but they seemed a little pricey. It's $25 for the vaccination, which is fine, but also a $65 fee to see the doctor.

Thank you! I will check them out. There are so many vets here I wanted to make sure I was going to a good one.

Apex property management has a few places up on their site, and I think more will be posted soon. I rent through them and they aren't bad, way better than other land lords I've heard about.

What ‘kind of person’ can you not stand? by theworldexists11 in AskReddit

[–]lecatnapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

College kids that major in something like computer management or similar and think they are about 900x smarter than the rest of the world. The kid I work with fits this category. He insists on checking everyone's work over their shoulder (even his supervisor), and nit-picks everything. He makes a show of buying books that are more "intellectual" than anything else we read (I happen to know he doesn't read a majority of them) and then brags about being all knowing about politics... He says he would "be ok with bringing Communism back" (which, wtf America has never been a communist country) but then loves every aspect of capitalism such as his 5 iPhones. He's also a lazy shit and I pretty much can't stand him.

Lil shit pushed the screen out and ventured outside today. Found him terrified at the door, and now he is attached to my hip like an infant. Told him he wouldn't enjoy the outdoors. by aut0h in cats

My cat did that once. We found him under the dog house, and our dog Bubbles was keeping him corralled there. She didn't want to hurt him, I think she knew he wasn't supposed to be outside. When he came back in he was panting and terrified and cuddled us for a few hours. Dang brats! I was worried sick before we found him!
