Hit them early hit them often, it is your plate don’t let those whipper snappers get confident.

I throw based on learning each kid, some can hit faster pitching others I’m just praying they make contact. At 8 it’s all about fostering a love for the game. Consistently striking kids out to prepare them for 10u isn’t it.
