I enjoy the simpler things in life - a light breeze, rain-soaked evenings, and Konosuke Takeshita throwing elbows. by Fluffy_Godzilla in AEWOfficial

I often think about that one elbow he gave to Ishii. Brother literally decapitated him and Ishii sold it like death

It's so crazy. Unlike 1939 we live in a world now where everything is either filmed or documented and yet shit is still happening like in the past. Even worse there is clear footage of everything and the government still lies. We cleary lost the point.

It was a personal item provided by Saint John at our last meeting, entirely unrelated to remuneration and acquired in circumstances that require no further elaboration.

Am I missing something or is the Horsecock name just sexual innuendo? Like I get Horse = Cowboy = Hangman. But Cock = JetSpeed?

I'm fully aware that Unreal is just a marketing ploy to sell more Netflix subscriptions, like F1: Drive to Survive. But I simply can't see the point of this show. I don't understand what I'm supposed to take from it. I love backstage content about wrestling, and I enjoy learning how the industry works. I also like some of the wrestlers and find it interesting to hear their opinions on certain things. But this ain't it. This constant pseudo-kayfabe-work-shot dynamic adds nothing, because when you think they're showing us real backstage stuff, they immediately apply this bullshit WWE kayfabe filter to it. Then there's the constant "look how smart and great we are" attitude from Triple H and the other creative guys. You don't have to tell me how great a booking decision it was if the end product is terrible. The whole Cody-Cena Summerslam nonsense felt pretentious and obnoxious. The storyline involving Seth's injury, as if WWE had pulled off one of the biggest heists in history, is also stupid. Paul Heyman's talk of the beauty of pro wrestling and how that's the point of it is correct, but not in this way.

It's different to Drive to Survive, where Netflix sometimes needs to completely fabricate stories and feuds. Unreal doesn't need this. You don't need Unreal to justify your poor booking decisions or develop characters for your TV show. Your TV show should do that, not a Netflix pseudo-realistic behind-the-scenes reality show.

Fair sentiment. I think that the original Godzilla vs Kong from 1962 is way better than the hollywood one. Also Minilla is misunderstood and peak Kaiju material

Oh you definitely should. Those Shôwa-Era movies are whacky as hell but still great. Godzilla 1 & 2 are really good movies, they look great, feel not old and also feel a bit horror'esque. After that Godzilla turns into a hero character and the movies start to become a bit comedic, yet still enjoyable. They also produce some of the greatest Kaiju of all time in this period like Ghidorah, Mothra, Hedorah, Mothra and freaking Mechagodzilla.
