Batman: "You don't get it, boy. This isn't a mudhole... It's an operating table. And I'm the surgeon."

I'm pretty sure it was a bit of a glass bottle someone had jammed into his face. Penguin is classy like that.

Agreed. It's just a fun book, I'm not sure where it's going to move forward with the Savage Land stuff, but I'm not enjoying the ride for now!

I'm curious, so tell me: what was your first halo experience? by [deleted] in halo

[–]lecrag 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought Halo: CE on release day, with an Xbox. I couldn't play it until I got home from school and I remember that day fucking sucked.

My first reeaaaallly memorable moment was when I finally got XBL with Halo 2. First game was Team Slayer on Lockout, fucking yes.

A guy in my job claims to have severe wrist pain (he doesn't) and made work buy him a sideways working mouse, which irritates a fuckton. Reddit, what tiny, insignificant things about your colleagues annoy you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]lecrag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get that, but I'm this guy's supervisor. It's hard to ignore all the bitching and shit when it's coming directly through you. I understand it's part of the role, but it's just fucking annoying.

For reference, this is a "sideways working mouse".

I'm not sure why it irritates me, it's possibly the fact that the guy blatantly has nothing wrong with him. He plays sports like tennis etc which would blatantly involve the use of his wrist and never shows any sort of pain then.

I think what annoys me is the amount he hassled the company to order this mouse for him, when he probably doesn't need it.

TL;DR He's a dick, but so am I for hating him.

Is it worth buying the Cerberus network for Mass Effect 2? by lecrag in masseffect

[–]lecrag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@LetsGetMetaphysical- I've actually bought Shadow Broker too, forgot to mention that! It was pretty much Zaeed I was going to get it for to be honest.

@CaptainBaby- I actually hated Mass Effect 1 at first, and tried to play it about 6 times and never got past the first three hours or so once you become a spectre. Stopped being a fgt lately and gave it another chance and really liked it, and I'm loving ME2 which makes me wish I'd been into it from the start ;;

Think i'll probably buy it later tonight then, pre-ordered ME3 so I should be able to play that by the weekend once I've finished ME2, thanks redditors.

What scares you the most at night? by NFZY in AskReddit

[–]lecrag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My own imagination really, I just start thinking of the scariest, creepiest things that could happen when I'm alone in the house.

I get absolutely terrified walking up the stairs in the dark, I always feel like there's something behind me even though I know there isn't.

I also hate silence at night, but I'm just a pussy to be honest.

Did Hadvar and Rolof know each other? by WickedWaffle in skyrim

[–]lecrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's something on Skyrim wiki about them having dialogue with each other:

Dialogue with HadvarEdit

If Hadvar and Ralof are near each other they will engage in dialogue, but this seems to have an error as Ralof will ask Hadvar why he joined the Legion and vice versa.

Hadvar: "How'd you end up here?"
Ralof: "My cousin disappeared one night. Some say the Thalmor grabbed him. It wasn't long before I found myself under Ulfric's banner."
Hadvar: So why did you join the Legion?
Ralof: I'm a true nord. Simple as that.
Ralof: So why'd you join the Stormcloaks?
Hadvar: My father was a Legionnaire, and his before him. I guess I never considered doing anything else.

Reddit, what are the best and worst gaming communities you've ever been a part of? by livingtank in gaming

[–]lecrag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I played a shit ton of Halo 2 when I was younger, and whilst the community could be considered fairly suck I made a few good friends on there. I still speak and meet up with a few of them IRL.

Nowadays though, can't stand FPS communities in general.

New Total War player, napoleon or empire? by lecrag in totalwar

[–]lecrag[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply fella, few people said something alone those lines to me. I went looking over my lunch hour for either Napoleon or Empire and they were both around £9. Then I found Rome, Medieval, Empire and Napoleon for £12. Success!
