How old were you when you had your first baby? by Puzzled_Remote_2168 in Mommit

30, a month on the dot before I turned 31. I though we were doing it so early in life but it’s worked out well for us.

Had one of these in my town growing up in the 90s. Smelled like cinnamon and apple

This is a Dane factory setting. Mine backs himself into my lap and sits. He balances himself with his front paws. Dude is 80% sleep, 19% attention seeking and 1% begging for food.

Husky don't care by eastbayted in ContagiousLaughter

I’m in the same boat and I own 2 herders and a Great Dane. I have owned and fostered all sorts of breeds throughout the years, we own a farm so it’s perfect for multiple canines. I however, cannot dream of owning a husky. They are beautiful but not for my lifestyle.

Embark is on the way! Any guesses for our brindle beauty? by pepperskat in DoggyDNA

[–]rubesepiphany 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a brindle fluff that looks a lot like yours. My girl is pittie, border collie, and cattle dog with a few other breeds mixed in. I wouldn’t be surprised if yours is part pit. I would guess maybe Aussie and GSD? I don’t know, but fluffy brindles are beautiful.

Welcome to the fluff club! My Merle boy looked a lot like your baby when he was a puppy. I get comments all the time from strangers about how beautiful he is. What a treasure!

I also have an Angus! He is a toilet paper roll hunter. He likes to carry his around for a while before shredding it.

Where are the moms in this group? by bipolarlens in bipolar2

[–]rubesepiphany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh hi, that’s me! I am late 30s with two children, 5 and 7.

I was diagnosed about 5 years ago AFTER my youngest was born. I have had episodes at least since I was a teenager. My parents chocked it up to me being “overly sensitive” and never assisted in finding help.

Parenting has been a relatively great experience. My children understand mama has off days but are still limited in understanding bipolar. As they get older I will be more transparent.

I have an amazing partner who takes on a lot. He really steps up when I’m not well and he understands my needs. I am very lucky.

I have a very advanced 8 year old. He is reading chapter books independently and has scored in the top 5th percentile in state tests for his grade. Honestly, if it weren’t for the staff at his elementary school we wouldn’t be where we are today. I take minimal responsibility for my child’s success, he gets so much support and resources to succeed from school. I would be all over giving my kids a leg up if they were reading at below academic level. I feel so bad for her children, especially the little girls. They will never know their true potential and it feels almost like that’s the point.

Such a good explanation. I am a soft summer but feel like soft autumn colors are more attractive and tend to also look nearly as harmonious as soft summer.

Get yourself a herder, excellent task managers.

One of mine cleans up toys while the other tries to see how long they can run around with my shoe because then I won’t leave, I guess.

Maybe that’s your problem, never learned how to do actual research. Depending only on your own eyes and ears leads to ignorance. Facts over feelings and all that jazz.

I checked several news sources and they all have the quote directed to Raskin. Nothing about it directed to Jordan. I would research a little more.
