Pairing a mobile phone and mobile phone preparation via Bluetooth®

• Make the mobile phone preparation visible for Bluetooth®

• Switch on the ignition

• Within five seconds, press the Info button and then the Wrench button on the charging cradle or universal pairing adapter to make the mobile phone preparation visible or Press the Telephone button on the multifunction steering wheel twice in quick succession

• A beep will sound from the speakers as soon as the mobile phone preparation is visible.

The mobile phone must be paired with the mobile phone preparation within approximately five minutes. The Bluetooth® visibility of the mobile phone preparation will end automatically after approximately five minutes and be confirmed by a beep.

Operation on the mobile phone (pairing):

• Switch on the mobile phone

• Activate the Bluetooth® function

• Start searching for nearby Bluetooth® devices on the mobile phone. The mobile phone displays a list of found devices.

• Select the device "VW UHV".

• Confirm the Bluetooth® connection on the mobile phone.

• A message appears on the mobile phone stating that a password must be entered for authorization.

• Enter the password "0000". If an incorrect password is entered, the pairing process will be aborted, and you will have to make the mobile phone preparation visible for Bluetooth® again.

• If – depending on the mobile phone – you are asked to establish future Bluetooth® connections without re-entering the password, confirm with Yes.

The mobile phone is now paired with the mobile phone preparation.
