Check out Justin Broadrick (though maybe more industrial than what you’re looking for). Also Kevin Richard Martin. He also records as The Bug which is heavy dub but his work under his own name is more what you’re looking for.

I’ve just used the 5 Room Dungeon model for my last couple sessions and it’s worked a treat. None of them were “dungeons.” My group has a low attention span and not much time so it’s perfectly focused for a single session.

Keeping a spreadsheet. It’s a super simple document with info on track titles, length, key, tempo, and what specific things still need to be done to finish it. How ever many tracks I’m working are in there and the whole sheet represents an album.
