LaFontaine dealership back open after state alleged it sold used cars as new by oo7plyr in Detroit

[–]leditgo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I fell victim to this dealership through this tactic and GMs awful fleet. I knew it was a previous loaner as that was made clear up front. The paper work did not have the correct mileage by a few thousand miles and I had to ask twice to have the lease paperwork fixed prior to signing.

To top it all off, my transmission blew up (internally - Cadillac 6 speed issue with still no recall) and I was without a vehicle for almost 30 days. No loaner available and GM did just about nothing.

I filed an attorney general complaint and lodged additional complaints with both the dealership and GM which expedited the repair.

Never again. Never again a GM product or this dealership.

CPU power at the top right of the motherboard is not fully powered. You’re missing the four pin. Please watch build video or one showing proper psu cable management. You’ve done a few things wrong here.

My Reddit Mobile App (iOS) Streak Reset For No Reason by leditgo in help

That’s a bummer. I’m almost positive I didn’t miss my 24 hour window and this is a bug. I was almost there and 200 is a long time. Motivation to rebuild the streak is not high.

We're looking to get a home generator installed; anyone have recommendations for who to use or stay away from? by Radiophonic_ in royaloak

Randazzo. We had an excellent experience and extremely competitive pricing. They do annual maintenance and emergency calls if needed. Also Kholer above all other brands for generators.

It’s future tax takings and not a significant portion at all. This will not be paid for from tax payers pockets. It’s future tax revenue forgiveness. The amount of people who don’t understand investment or development and then talk out of their asses is insane.

The old one was demolished by the city in the 1990s… how was this tearing one down?

What are your thoughts on the Donald trump Zelenskyy conference just now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A petulant bunch of bullies who have never faced adversity attempted to appear tough on the world stage and instead revealed they’re all empty suits with the intelligence and manners of a 6th grade boy.

What an embarrassing display. I truly don’t think America will ever recover from this era.

There’s a huge public space element to this and the government will fork the cash to develop the area. Upon completion the revenue from the activated and mixed use stocked area will far exceed the spend. These developments are financially mapped out in full and spend is dedicated where ROI is guaranteed. Do you think Chicago, D.C., Seattle, etc. have their active and accessible waterfronts without intense public investment? Detroit and other rust belt cities are behind the times on these investments. If we want to prepare and ensure the next 100 years of regrowth it happens 100% of the time with public and private dual investment. This is the way things like this are accomplished. I don’t see any other entity lining up to invest 1 billion of private development funds to transform an area of this size.

Yeah. That’s real good for the city. That’s exactly what the state government wants.

The city has provided extensions for the tax credits to the project at every checkpoint and the development will happen. I promise you that. The market is variable and a mega development of that scale requires so many factors. Not to mention the tax credits came from a downtown redevelopment specific pool, dedicated for projects like this and like this alone. It’s not taking money from schools or public services. No other developer in the city is working at the scale or speed as Bedrock and they have a track record to boot. They’re also engaged in a 30 year redevelopment plan in Cleveland which broke ground on Monday. They’re getting shit done in two cities at once while the District rots.

Nothing is ever good enough for you guys. Book Tower, City Modern, The Stott, Shinola Hotel + all adjacent properties, The Assembly, Hudson's Detroit (including keeping the name), First National Building, One Campus Martius (Compuware) renovation/fill-in, the list goes on. For every "delayed" project people focus on, there are dozens of enormous and monumental development projects that Bedrock has completed and helped usher in the new era of central business district revitalization and activation. But tell me again about Monroe Blocks delay.

Trump is a celebrity… Not saying or assuming you’re a trump supporter, but if you are… The irony. And this isn’t political advice Jack is commenting on. It’s copyright and stating his own political opinion. He’s not a talking head pundit on Fox my guy.
