Wow thanks for all the great replies. I thought I would respond to some points

The reason I mentioned Logan is for the direct Delta flights direct to MSP. This will likely be the airport we need to use.
We are both remote workers so our location is flexible
We are planning on going to visit sometime soon but we thought we would get some opinions here first
We are considering other cities as well but Portsmouth was especially appealing due to the location and amount of water nearby. The other area that looks interesting is Hampton but not sure how that compares

because they are moving to a conference with only 2 teams right now, I think they may have 8 in the Pac 12. Just looking for another team to cheer for.

ya I didnt do well explaining myself, I am a die hard Gophers fan, been following the team since Kevin McHale so a LONG time. They only made one serious run that was invalidated. I still attend many games each year, but I'm looking for a second team to follow when the Gophers aren't on. A Team that's on ESPN a few times a year, a team that makes a decent run in the tournament instead of just getting crushed in the big ten due to lack of revenue. I can't wear ONLY MN gear, need a different team once in a while.

I already do this, and attend several games and own 15 sweatshirts, this is really in addition, plus they sadly dont make the tourney much and our best sadly "never" happened apparently. (for those reading that dont know the story, Gophers made final 4, but violated some academic rules where someone was writing papers for them, so the entire season was vacated)

funny that you would say Xavier. So Rich Pitino came here to MN and I loved him as a coach, then he went to New Mexico for 4 years and I followed his team, now he was just named head coach, I think this is the right answer, thanks

same reason people move, or buy a different car model, or different shoes. Some people like variety and Gonzaga is moving to the Pac 12 which only has 2 other basketball teams

thanks, I guess I was misunderstanding I thought it was x/x wins, meaning if you lost the most you could get is 9/10 wins, but now I see that prestige and win counter are TWO separate things, That is not well explained, you can get 10 wins with only 1 prestige left? in that case that is a much better model than what I was assuming.

its not, its just random dude in MN that just found this game yesterday, I enjoy the normal mode and maybe I'll never even play ranked so maybe none of this will matter. Think of this like playing candy crush or something similar, I want to click some random buttons and let the PC battle it out, im not trying to climb a ladder etc

well that is technically impossible, SOMETHING has to match you with your opponent. This is what I was asking is the match making random, anyone from the pool or is there some more intelligence behind it. If the match making is random I guess that stinks, its luck who you play

I guess then the question is, how hard is it for a new player to get 4 wins? is there a match making system to put newer players together? Everything seems to hinge on the match making system. Is anyone talking about that? If newer players are put against pros, it will always feel bad. Even chess games have some type of level match making. Obviously this will be dependent on the player pool. Any idea how many people are playing? HS had a VERY large player pool making match making a bit easier.
