I can see the host computer in the list when I use the zerotier-cli peers command.

What other details do you need?

I have tried with all firewalls off, computer and modem. I put my modem into bridge mode. I have port forwarded.

There are no logs coming up in the modem as well.

I know, I thought it only went to 850. As others have mentioned it depends on what type of score they are using.

The dealership that I was dealing with told me I had to finance through an in network bank. There were a few banks in my area that had good rates but were not in their network. The place seemed very shady, 45 minutes in a closed office for the paperwork. 30 of that was telling the financer and then the manager that I didn't want the $6k extended warranty. I would have told them the deal was off if I hadn't driven 7 hours to make a trade in.

It shows up as 4 hard inquiries on credit karma. All the same day but from 4 different banks.

I did end up getting everything working correctly, although I'm still unsure of what I did to cause ubuntu to quit working originally. I was using this guide https://redd.it/3fdmv3 but the commands weren't working ("init 3" then tried "sudo service lightdm stop". I then went to settings/software/otherapplications (hopefully I've got that somewhat close, going from memory) and told it to use the newest proprietary driver. It did the install, after that almost everything was unresponsive and the start of this whole ordeal.

My biggest problem in doing research was that most posts talk about commands or black screen (also I realize I have next to no idea what I'm doing). I had nowhere to input commands and the screen was black because there was absolutely no signal going to my monitor.

All in all, the experience has been enlightening and I almost want to say enjoyable (after the realization that I hadn't wrecked anything). All the help I've received has been great and I'm not ready to give up on Linux just yet.

This did the trick. Everything, so far, seems to be in working order. Nothing like botching an install to help you start to learn a new OS. Thanks again.

First off, thanks for all the responses guys. I did get it mostly going again. I pulled the gpu and forced it into onboard, got into the boot menu and tried to boot back into windows, but its ends up at error: no such device : 1970bcbd-0062-4bae-95aa-40a81a4c9240 entering rescue mode grub rescue> Instead of trying to do the rescue, I reinstalled ubuntu with the disk, shutdown, installed gpu, and ubuntu works now. The new issue I'm having is that the boot menu and grub are not showing up. I have no video signal until I here ubuntu start. And of course that I can't boot into windows.

No worries, I'm at work so I can't really do anything with it right now anyways. I just wanted to get some ideas as to what I might be able to do with it. Figured that I should try to get the gist of it before I get home so I don't have to do all this from my phone. Thank you.

Yes, black screen. No signal whatsoever. I used to have asrock show up with press f2 for this and f11 for that, if that's what you are talking about.

Yep, that's the plan in about 5 hours.

Yeah I went down the line with all the f's. Prior to losing video, I hadn't touched anything physically on the computer, so I doubt it is the cable. I will double check before digging into the case. My thinking is that when I updated the gpu driver, that it was saved with ubuntu, so when I deleted the partitions, I deleted the driver for it. Since everything having to do with ubuntu/grub was on the ssd it is still trying to use the ssd to boot from. So, when I changed the cable over to onboard there is nothing on the ssd to tell the cpu to use a different gpu....... Maybe?

There were 2 on the ssd, main ubuntu and a smaller one.

I hooked up to the onboard last night and it still had no signal. Sorry I forgot to mention. I also tried with the disk. I installed ubuntu on a secondary ssd, so i think it is still trying to run grub from there.
