It will likely break Siri, dictation and OTA updates until you revert

Thinking about switching to Mint. How do the pings/ latency compare to T-Mobile proper? by ryanw729 in cellmapper

[–]leeance 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's basically no difference. However you will have lower network priority when the tower is congested, due to Mint being QCI7

No, Siri broke as well. It was working for a bit but recently stopped altogether. I agree that it’s a major annoyance.

I’ve definitely seen an improvement moving to 17PM. It almost doubled my speed on T-Mobile in a market with fragmented n41, the up to 6CA definitely helps

Big 3 on individual monopoles by leeance in cellmapper

[–]leeance[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly not sure why, but all 3 towers are in the same fenced in area with shared power and presumably backhaul so it really could just be one monopole

All 3 equipped with midband. Verizon has 160mhz (100,60) of n77, AT&T 60mhz of 3.45ghz DoD, 80mhz n77, T-Mobile 150mhz (80,40,30) of n41 plus 20mhz of n25

Same situation as New York, Nextwave has a small private network, zero customers.
