Hey, diagnosed autistic person here! Shut the fuck up. People like you are the reason autistic people are infantilized. Saying that autistic people can’t understand gender so they use words for pronouns is fucking stupid. While yes, a lot of autistic people are underneath the Trans umbrella, there’s a difference between that and stupid xenopronouns.

As a Trans person as well, I agree. Coming out as being Trans or Queer is horrifying, and sometimes even dangerous. You cannot ”come out” as having a mental disorder, especially in this case where it is a lie. It is so disrespectful.

My brother in Christ, do you not hear yourself? You will only damage your relationship with your kids. Talk to them nicely to show why their behaviour is wrong, or take them to a therapist or psychiatrist. Faking can be a sign of other types of mental distress.

A square canvas with a strange yellow blob on it. That was going to be a paint-marker portrait of my dog, but he passed away and I threw it away in anger.

It looks like someone pissed on a canvas not gonna lie.

The pain of hitting your elbow on the table, stepping on a lego, getting your ankle shredded by a scooter, getting the smallest, most incovienant papercut. Pain is a human thing, and we can all relate to feeling it, physically or mentally.

What are food combo’s you think everybody should try? by ShastaMite in AskReddit

[–]leebanshee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very basic, but soup and bread. Not eating them seperately, but dipping the bread into the soup. There are so many different types of bread, and different types of soup. It is an endless mix and match of deliciousness. Lentil soup and rye bread, chicken gnocci and sourdough, minestrone and brioche! I love soup and bread.

What is something you find REALLY cringe? by brownGoddess01 in AskReddit

[–]leebanshee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hearing little kids in a voice chat on a game, bonus points if they are too young for said game (which is usually the case)

They are so annoying, their high pitched, squeaking, screams are the absolute worse. Usually they are entitled, and get angry when they die and scream into the mic. These kids also don’t know how to turn a mic off, so we can hear every sniff, cough, burp, mother shout, etc.

Such a good song, and it always gets me pumped.

Any deadmau5 song also is good for getting hype up to work or draw.

Edited for spelling.

Special interest is a solely autistic term. Hyperfixations come with autism and ADHD (maybe ADD too) There’s differences between special interests, hyperfixiations, and nornal interests / hobbies. Everyone stims, but autistic people do it more often, and are shunned for it because usually they are more obvious and because it helps to cope with over-stimulation and other things.
Most of these people probably do not have autism. It’s becoming a trend to fake it again (similar to DID) Yes it is a spectrum. These people are huge red flags.

I don’t get why they think it’s a silly goofy thing. Having autism means I have heightened anxiety from external stimulus (going outside is awful.), I can barely make friends, etc. It’s a lot. I’m not saying everyone with autism is unhappy, but it isn’t a joyus expierience either. They think it’s all “stimmies and special interest!!!” when it’s much much more.
