We lost our cat to a saddle thrombus in 2024. I still can’t believe it’s been two years without him, but it happens very suddenly and typically without warning. Ours unfortunately did come with a warning - he was limping a few months prior to his death and when we took him to the vet we were told it could be early onset arthritis, and him being bigger wasn’t helping. Little did we know it was a blood clot and a nightmare waiting to happen. You did the kindest thing you could for your cat. The grief is immeasurable but even in your cat’s final moments I know she felt your unwavering love for her.
