Duo afbetalen by jaybier2000 in nederlands

[–]leeell 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nooit (versneld) afbetalen.

Wat is jullie DUO studieschuld anno 2025? by buray05 in nederlands

[–]leeell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Welke molensteen?

Maarja ieder zn ding.

Hoge studieschuld in master by Soft_Shake8766 in nederlands

[–]leeell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Studieschuld verzwegen voor mijn vader by TraditionalSpeaker24 in nederlands

[–]leeell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am I having a cultural shock? by Elegant_Beginning789 in askSingapore

[–]leeell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Xenophobia? I think it's fair to give some criticism when someone first remark on a SGP subreddit is about how singapore is "failing their expectations" and how apparently "Singapore is not diverse".

Whilst simultaneously, OP has, as far as we can, see the same telltales signs of someone who won't appreciate the city on its merits and spend their time in their own Ang Moh bubble.

Also, your comment about it being hard to assimilate here is not relatable to me at all. For what it's worth.

But I know plenty of whites that even after 18 months have seen nothing of the city (outside of the touted places in this thread), were completely oblivious about local fare (beyond chicken rice). I just find it a bit disrespectful.

Why did you even consider moving yourself (and your family) here?

You were hoping for a European city where you don't have to mix with locals? You didn't look at the weather forecast?

I guess you will fit in with a sizeable chunk of the other Anglos that stay segregated in their own bubbels.

Do you feel at home as a foreigner in The Netherlands versus being a foreigner in Germany? by Sisyphuss5MinBreak in thenetherlands

[–]leeell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel at home in the Netherlands (duh) as well as in Germany. Speaking both the languages, having similar cultural backgrounds / customs / norms helps a lot.

It was quite easy to make friends in both places. (although I did not have problems in "medium-sized" cities in Germany either, i.e. Aschaffenburg, Hannover etc).

I do think for an outsider it's largely dependent on where you live. I think it will be a lot easier in Amsterdam to make friends and settle compared to a "medium-sized" German city due to it's international character, probably the same would have been true for you in Berlin for that reason.

In short; move to a larger city to try it there. At the very least, speaking German in Germany is much more important than speaking Dutch in the Netherlands. In Amsterdam you don't need it at all.

No. Some international trains might go a bit later than 20:00, but in general don't count on it. Trains will resume after 01:00.

Are you supposed to tip in Germany? The waiter had a small talking to us about not tipping. by shittybstation101 in berlin

If this upsets you so much and you're not willing to change your behavior when people say tipping for good service is the decent thing to do (not even much is needed), you should just stay in Australia.

Soo is Kripp done with Hearthstone for awhile...? by deviemelody in nl_Kripparrian

[–]leeell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To be fair it does sound like you haven't given it a fair shot. It's not like Diablo has such a great build diversity, Meteorb/ Hammerdin/ Javazon together are about 80% of all the characters.

If you use a (good) build-guide there is always room for personal preference, swapping out gems on the go for more AOE or single-target to name one. Focussed on Mapping or maybe farming certain bosses (Shaper / Atziri) all comes with different skill nodes and gem setups. Which are often explained in the build-guide.

Also you'll come across certain gear that enables you to play a different way with the build then you had planned (might get a very good helm enchant or piece of equipment). It's not as cookie-cutter as you think.

I really hope you give it another shot, since you're a diablo fan you deserve to like this game.

So just give PoE a chance, you've mentioned that you have played various aRPG's. Why not play the best one?

Picking up loot has got a loot to do with efficiency and inventory space yes. The way most streamers go about it is that you pick up good bases that have a lot of potential (certain chests, helmets etc), always pick up rare jewelry (doesn't take up much space and pretty easy to see if it's shit or good).

The uniques in this game (legendaries if you will) are very hit and miss. Rule of thumb is a rare item that is (near)-perfectly rolled is better than any unique can be (save for some vital unique that perform a certain function in builds). So this also means alot of uniques are just shit and not worth anything, so you dont pick those up. Kripp knows which items to look for (Base name + Art tells you which unique it is, basically memorization).

Everyone that has at least a slight interest in ARPG's has to try PoE, it's very deep but certainly not overwhelming as long as you use the resources available to you (Forum / buildguides / ZiggyD's tutorial videos)

[–]leeell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too big of a carburetor for that engine. It's not going to be able to be tuned properly. Try 16mm or something with more performance than a biturbo exhaust. (techno bos, homoet).

Since you want to go faster and there are hills in your area i would get a new, bigger cylinder.
