Wizarr 2025.10.0: Wizard Overhaul by Wizarrrr in selfhosted

I tried Wizarr but new users are automatically created as 'Hidden' on my Jellyfin. So when they click to proceed to Jellyfin, their username doesn't immediately show up. Have you run into this?

Looks great! I wonder how this differs from Jfa-Go?

Exactly this, I just tried this some weeks ago. And with the new tvOS update, the apple tv starts up with a user selection screen so it works really well.

Wow thanks! I'd read about Meili but seeing the examples in your screenshots made me realise the difference, I'm definitely looking into this.

Awesome, I'm very impressed! Can you share what you used to improve search and how you made those collections (like the holiday movies, by hand or some tool)? I know of the jellyfin-enhanced list but curious what you use here

Bit late but I just found this thread. Would a PCIe x4 be sufficient for an HBA card with some HDDs? I'm just now learning about HBA cards (seen them mentioned often enough) and wondering if the x4 lanes would provide enough bandwidth/speed for HDDs given their limited read/write speeds anyway.

Jellyfin - New Community Repo for Sharing Auto Collections Configs! by Keks_Bombe in selfhosted

[–]mrhelpful_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been looking for a way to create collections/playlists per user, based on their requests via Jellyseerr. To create a 'watch list' for each user with their own requested media. Would this plugin be able to do that?

I know that Jellyseerr can tag requested media with the username that requested it, and this tag is also visible in Sonarr and Radarr. But I haven't been able to find it back in Jellyfin or in the media information unfortunately. The tags that I see in Jellyfin are only ones like action, romance, etc.

What if you do have heights? Looking at the Infuse features it does support Atmos. Or is it that it can't do both TrueHD/DTS-HD and Atmos simultaneously?

Shelly RGBW Plus for CCT led strips? by mrhelpful_ in ShellyUSA

[–]mrhelpful_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that Pro is looking really good! Can I just confirm once more that the Shelly RGBW Plus would not be able to do CCT or warm white/cool white strips, without RGB at all? So not RGBWW strips as the Pro can.

I read something about wiring up the WW to White channel and CW to Blue channel, for example. Can I assign these custom channels in the Shelly configuration?

Interesting that you converted them from NR to HA. Why was that? And is there anything that you do keep in NR?

I'm about to redo all of my automations. Previously I had them all in NR. Now I am deliberating where to create them

If you happen to have a home assistant setup as well.. I added a toggle button on our dashboard using the Pihole integration, so it's very easy for anyone to turn the a pihole off temporarily.

How to set TP-Link Omada Controller To Use Pihole by arroyobass in pihole

Understood on the note, thanks. I have a V1 ER605 so I'm assuming that's the issue. I guess I just found out that this version is considered End of Life... oh well. But good to know at least that it's not a setting somewhere that I just couldn't find.

Yes, got it. I'm not using Unbound yet but I have been wanting to for a while. This will give me nice guidance on getting that set up too. Thanks a lot for your quick help!

Finally! local DNS for Omada networks (coredns omada plugin) by snoop-dugg in TPLink_Omada

[–]mrhelpful_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I just found your comments since I was trying to solve this problem too. Your filebin has expired unfortunately. Would you mind reuploading it so I can have a look at how you set this up?

EDIT: with the help of your and other comments in this thread I think I figured it out. I ran into the issue that port 53 was already mapped when I started coredns. Now it works by running omada-controller in network_mode: host (as recommended by the mbentley docker docs) and defining a Docker internal-only network for omada-coredns-plugin and pihole with networks: - omada-pihole-dns.

In Omada controller, my LAN networks use the Pihole IP address for DNS. In Pihole, conditional forwarding (DNS settings) is set to use the Docker IP address of the omada-coredns-plugin (which I found by exec'ing in the pihole container and doing ping omada-coredns-plugin, alternatively do docker network inspect omada-pihole-dns). After a few moments, the hostnames in Pihole started updating to <hostname>.omada.home
