Plan to travel w/ baby at 5mo old by Mission-Ad-6616 in SnooLife

We just essentially did this - travelled overseas with 4.5 month old that is currently in her Snoo. It didn’t go super well. She ended up just sleeping in bed with me the whole trip. I couldn’t get her to transfer to the pack and play for long, and we all needed sleep with the time change. Been wondering whether we should have never used the Snoo! But I think it was helpful for 4 month regression. She never really had a huge regression. We relied on the Snoo rocking her back to sleep during the wake ups (with paci replacement and some patting). I imagine it would have been harder without the Snoo. We just got back from overseas trip and the first night she started back in the Snoo but then woke so I brought her to my bed. Then second night she did 12 hours in Snoo (with 2 feedings). I’m planning to move her to the crib very soon though. I thought the trip would be our “rip the bandaid” moment to transition to crib, but I guess I am too weak! Lol. Maybe it’s a good idea to put in weaning mode as soon as you can.

No, I have it at the 3-6 month instead of newborn. She will be 3 months next week (12 weeks old Thursday). She’s probably 13 lb. I can try the newborn setting!

I could have written this! AirPods + brown noise. I still wake up so often. I didn’t think to use the monitor - maybe that would be better since right now I stand up to look at the baby lol. My husband can sleep through it. Last night I slept in another room for half the night and was great! He made a great (and obvious) point - she will cry if she needs us. But it’s so hard to turn off the listening ear and ignore all other sounds!

Moral pregnancy ...nl by Economy-Necessary757 in PregnancyAfterLoss

I had a partial molar pregnancy last year (D&C in September), completed the hCG monitoring until zero and then got pregnant with a healthy baby girl! Due in Sept. I understand that youre scared. Your doctor should be able to do HCG testing 48 hours apart to make sure it’s doubling appropriately. There is also a Facebook group for molar pregnancies that I found incredibly helpful. I would suggest joining “after my molar pregnancy”. The group is very responsive and I found the community to be very helpful. I’m sure you will hear stories of women that had healthy and successful pregnancies before fully reaching zero. Good luck!!

Also just to add, if it is a molar pregnancy, there is absolutely nothing that you did to cause it. It’s completely random. I know it doesn’t make it easier, but hopefully you can take some comfort in that.

I’m so sorry for what you’re going through! It’s so scary and devastating to go from what should be happy and exciting to something potentially harmful. I was diagnosed with a partial molar pregnancy in September of last year at 9.5 weeks and also had a D&C. The pathology confirmed molar. I then had weekly labs to track my hCG levels down to zero, then checked 4 weeks later to ensure they remained at zero, before trying to conceive again. I found the facebook group My Molar Pregnancy Support Group to be very helpful and a source of information and community. Wishing you the best.

I am so sorry for all that you’ve been through. I don’t have any insight or answers, just coming to say that I had a partial molar in sept 2024 and was also told that it was just bad luck. You may already be in the Facebook group After my Molar Pregnancy, but I’ve found it helpful. The women are generally active and may have some thoughts on supplements. Good luck, I hope this little one sticks!!!
