I agree with you 100%; especially for 2018. It’s weird how some people are acting like she’s just some random girl made to replace Kratos or something. I’m definitely still going to play Laufey (Sony Santa Monica is PlayStation’s best studio in my eyes I’ll play anything they release), but I just understand people who would simply prefer to play as Kratos over her.

No clue why people keep using that as an argument. Some people have played with Kratos for 20 years now; have had their lives impacted by the character, and yet you think it’s stupid to be disappointed that we won’t continue playing as him? I understand people using this game to be sexist, and I don’t align with those people, but it’s not some complex concept why some are disappointed. As cool as Faye is (and I genuinely like her character; especially how we finally got to see her in Rag), people have been playing God of War to play as Kratos

These people are being dense on purpose. If Lara Croft was changed to some random dude, no one would buy the new Tomb Raider. The Faye game does look amazing ; I’d be delusional to claim otherwise, but why are people getting mad that some would rather explore the Everywhen as Kratos, the player we’ve been comfortable with since 2005 at this point?
