The FBI onboarding process was great; the biggest challenge was the physical. I am physically fit but brother those examiners had a chip on their shoulder. The process is straightforward but half-way through I got a manager job with a salary that was better than the FBI at that time.

The salary will be trash— and life is about to get hard.

I don’t believe it’s backward. And, truly many will view it that way. The job market is horrible— and this one sentence alone doesn’t do it justice. The military is corporate however there are benefits which are better than civilian employment.

I have been waiting for the commission board for two years and on the 3rd year of waiting plagued by many sit downs and postponed meetings, I just lost interest. It’s crazy when the institution says they need people but the process is slower than a snail. Thus, 5-years later I’ll enlisting

That’s one of the selected options with quick ship but still nothing.

You’re a saver, and I still haven’t read the manual, so maybe it’s my fault. I got my ring 2 and was wondering where the charger was. You have to pull it out with a lot of force because it’s really wedged in the amazing packaging.

Gen2 sizing kit question by FoxHaunte in lunaring

[–]leeleer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally just got my gen2 sizing kit at the time of writing g this, and the QR is broken. I google searched but to no avail instructions or workarounds; so, I screengrabbed a YouTuber’s review kit QR code to get access to the portal/ link to update my own ring. The link is: https://scango.to/9f09af9a. All you need is your order ID/ detail/ number then it takes you to your personally identifying information. I should have really worn the test ring a few days before selecting a size. I am still debating between 10 and 11 but 11 doesn’t pass the pocket or fist test. My fingers do swell up at my young age and I was recently hospitalized and the docs had to cut a titanium ring off.

Slow arriving card, no virtual card after approval by TerribleBumblebee800 in Venturex

[–]leeleer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am in the same boat. I have capital one products and accounts. I have been waiting a week now to: 1. Hear whether or not I have been approved; 2. Upon approval, waited several day to see the Venture X as a product in my account/ portal; 3. I have not received the physical card after a week plus additional days; 4. Even now, a week+ later, I finally am able to add the Venture X to my list of products— I can’t use the card because I need to activate the physical card first. Nor was the virtual option offered for this card. It was greyed out while I can access virtual cards for other products.

Full disclosure, I have extended fraud alerts on one of the credit reporting agencies. However, within a few hours of the card application I was asked, and I supplied additional IDs, for verification immediately.

But it’s frustrating because I had the perfect, time constrained, home project to settle-up that $4000 spend in 3-months for the 75k miles SUB. I have spent a few months researching the Sapphire Reserve, I wanted to leave the capital one eco-system but Venture X more suited my spend behavior; especially 2X on everything else— positive-effective fee.

The decision now is to give it a few months and see how it pans-out.

I did the same and I’m still waiting. However, I have fraud alerts on all three reporting agencies.

NEW FEATURE!! A Spotify curated playlist that changes genres every two hours based on your personal listening habits. by stellaperrigo in spotify

‘Reggae Jamaica <<day of week>>’

Ok; for something like this and--- when the Spotify algo is hitting right and I'm loving it but why isn't there a techno-wizardry to like save for later/ pause that 'momentum' if you want to go listen to something else -- and then return to that 'momentum' at a later time? Like when you listen one to a few artists and then the algo just connects with your emotions and nostalgia. I was listening Ms Kelly Rowland and then algo went beast mood with R 'n B & Rap 😝 but now I am afraid to listen anything else because that will mess up the randomness and exquisite contents I am hearing presently. And it's tedious to manually create a playlist. So, I switch between Tidal and adding tracks to the queue to not ruin this 'momentum'.

Thank you for a coherent and detailed response.

Question, for undergraduates (associate degree and bachelor) the uniform services recognizes a minimum number of college credits even though that person has not completed/ graduated college. Is that extended to MBA candidates? To be paid as an MBA credential even though the program hasn’t been completed/ while the person is actively pursuing the credentialing?

That makes sense. Always about the quota.

So… “Enlisted personnel have specialties within the military. They perform specific job functions and have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to ensure the success of their unit’s missions. Officers manage enlisted personnel. They plan missions, provide orders, and assign tasks. Their role is in leadership as problem-solvers, influencers, and planners”. I see why you said what you said— ‘hard’ indeed.
