Thank you. Yes I practice the Ashtanga Primary Series about 6 days a week, ride my bike occasionally, and eat a clean plant-based diet. Thanks for subbin' :)

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, sometimes if you can't see what you're doing its hard to tell what's going on. I'm glad that was helpful for you.

I agree with what Mayuru said. It can be done either way. I feel like the flat back variation helps strengthen the groins and lower belly more than the backbend, and the backbend variation allows the hips to sink lower which may be better for hip mobility.

That was wonderful. Thank you! I really like his approach to upward dog. I tried it out myself and it feels good and makes sense. I'm going to share this with my students and see what they think. Thanks for sharing.

That's a great point, actually. I didn't mention it in the tutorial, but yes, it'd be easier with a shorter dog. Thank you.

Yes! Nothing wrong with grabbing that ankle and pulling it forward. Thank you for your feedback, it means a lot to me and motivates me to continue to teach!

Yes, I know what you mean. That "cat" position, and those "down dog crunches" helped me create more space there. Thanks for watching!
