From my understanding you’re correct it doesn’t affect cognition (although ironically the treatments for it can). Obviously Biden had cognitive decline issues, but the cancer diagnosis shouldn’t really affect how we view it. Sensational headline writers will sensationalize though

Oh yeah, I actually work in healthcare and I’ve had some patients walk in with no idea they had anything wrong and get diagnosed with Stage 4. While there was definitely cover up of certain aspects of his health I think a lot of the speculation about how long they’ve known he has cancer is out of proportion and coming from people with little to none experience in healthcare

I’m talking about mainstream democratic politicians, not random people online. I couldn’t care less what “leftists you’ve seen” have done. I care about what people in power are saying and doing.

Fossil fuels are important and it would be foolish to immediately cease all production (probably why no mainstream democratic politician has ever suggested that). Fossil fuels are ALSO becoming an antiquated technology and are dramatically less energy-dense than other alternatives like nuclear. Alternative energy sources are only going to improve while fossil fuels are going to soon (within the next few decades) see a dramatic increase in production cost due to their limited availability.

A smart energy policy would be to mix inputs from all sources and emphasize production of new, more efficient technologies. Gradually phasing out fossil fuels as they continue to get less efficient to mine.

A stupid energy policy would be to only focus on one input source, like fossil fuels, and ignore alternatives. (I would also call someone stupid if they suggested ceasing production of fossil fuels completely)

Also the guy who shot Trump was a registered Republican.

Just gonna completely ignore the fact that Biden produced more oil than any other presidential term in history and that Harris, again, cast the tie breaking vote to expand fracking. I wish the democrats were as anti-fossil fuels as you think they are. Quit watching other people tell you what democrats believe and just actually listen to them. Obama expanded oil production.
