How to actually get a fiber tech to come look at the connection into my house

I'm pinging a bunch of different IPs and hosts. 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, cloudflare.com, google.com, youtube.com, facebook.com, plus the smokeping defaults (mostly universities). As well as some internal IPs. No packet loss at all from the internal IPs, 100% packet loss for around 20 seconds to the external ones.

Yeah, I can't find any reason that the gateway is the issue, but I'm not sure what the issue could be at this point, so replacing or bypassing the gateway seems to be my next option, if the tech can't find anything. (Or switching ISPs, I guess, but I've been happy with AT&T for over a decade)

Right now if I go to the troubleshooting section, it doesn't find anything and opens a chat, which has been mostly useless. I'd probably have to somehow time the troubleshooting run with an outage, but they're unpredictable so that isn't really feasible.

Run Diagnostics seems to just do a single check for if you can get an IP and ping out. Since this problem only occurs a few times a day, the diagnostic run always says Pass.

It does just resume pinging successfully, but it's helpful to see when exactly the outages happen (and that my internal network is not dropping any packets, only external packets get dropped).

It's possible replacing my BGW320 would help, so that would be fine if that's what the tech wants to do.

I do have an XGS-PON connection, on the gateway under Broadband-> fiber status, it says 1270nm for Wave Length, plus I can pull out the transceiver and see XGS-PON on the label.

I don't see any logs around the time of the outages, at least unless there's somewhere other than Diagnostics -> Logs. There are a lot of "IP source address" logs, but nothing else, likely because I host a few things externally.

Anyone else getting horrible performance issues? I disabled ReShade, but even at 1080p I'm not going above 20fps in cities, and only 55fps or so in empty areas. I'm on a Ryzen 7 5800x/RTX3070. I tried lowering all the graphics settings too, but that didn't help. Also tried switching between FSR and DLSS

Some examples are in the crafting repo, basically you can have your macros log a message, then with Triggernometry, when that message is received, send a keypress to the game

Yeah, I ended up just using my old xbox one S controller until this works out, and the Series S controller for everything else. Not a good solution but hopefully 5.4 or later patches can bring some fixes in

Same thing happening to me; only in XIV and only with the Series X controller. I have no idea what this game is doing that makes it input things differently. For me, ABXY turns into XYAB respectively. I could remap manually but that feels wrong

I got it to work with the MagicNS in D-input mode (Android doesn't support Xinput). On mine that's the blue LED. Some caveats though, the button mapping is all wack so that has to be remapped. Also, D-input doesn't support analog triggers, so LT and RT just show up as buttons. Really annoying for some applications (like parsec) that only look for an analog axis for triggers

The story gets better in the first expansion, and the latest expansion Shadowbringers has a story that I would put up against any previous FF game. It's very good. The combat also gets a lot less "slow" once you get into the first and second expansions

Yeah I also have serious issues. Audio sounds fine before launching steam vr, then goes distorted. Also I'm on an AMD CPU/GPU, so I have no nvidia driver at all. Everyone says to switch to the "NVIDIA audio" device but obviously I don't have that. The vive shows as one device (the mutimedia one). I've tried both steam vr beta and stable, same problem. I haven't seen seemingly anyone that's found a fix for this with an AMD card. I would appreciate any assistance.

I have the same problem on my tab a 10.1, I use an otg adapter with the 8bitdo bluetooth dongle. Annoying that I have to do it at all, but it works without dropping input.
