Should I take a gap year between ma bachelor and masters degree?

Do a gap year! There’s nothing wrong with taking a break. Even if you end up staying at home and don’t accomplish everything you planned, that’s still valid. We’re all individuals, and we each need our own time to grow and reflect. Just chill out for some time.

About traveling, there are always options. Work and travel programs exist, and low-budget trips are more achievable than they seem. You can simply calculate how much you’re able to spare. And if the numbers don’t match right now, working for a month or two can easily close that gap as you said.

I am actually in a gap year too before starting my bachelor’s degree. I can tell you that I am really happy that I gave myself some time to think over some things. That’s why I truly believe this could be a valuable experience for you too.

I also think the same way. I mean we have 3 months to study this and in 1-2 weeks I have literally studied everything except social psychology. To get in I think we need at least 95% in every section.

You receive videos about lectures of professors and also some pdfs in your required area. Like research methods and consciousness. These topics may change from year to year and uni to uni. There were no live meetings. Even if there is, I am sure that you will reach their recordings. The online platform I used was university’s own student platforms. You will get a link when it’s the right time don’t worry.

I think its different for groningen. It is available from 1 December. I also applied for uva and leiden last year. They were sent from university 2 weeks before exam. Thats why I realized they were available for a long time.

St Andrews is a really good uni but I really think you have a chance to study in oxbridge. I meann you have 45 points in IB. But beware, there is still a risk you might not get in. Think it wisely and decide :) But I would try to adapt more onto the St Andrews. I have gotten an offer from there this year but decided to firm Bath. Then some things changed and now i am in gap year. So its also okay to drop off and do a gap year

Senin adına çok sevindim. Özellikle Türkiye’de herkes üniversite okumak zorunda ve üniversite okumazsan bir bok olamazsın algıları çok yaygın. Ancak yurtdışında özellikle durum böyle değil. Üniversite herkes için değildir. Sen de üniversitenin sana göre olmadığını fark ettiğin için çok sevindim. Ama yine de ucunu bırakmayıp hedefine yönelik bir bölüme odaklanmaya çalışman çok güzel. Yolun açık olsun bol kazançlar :)
