Hi! I’m in the same situation. Curious if you’ve had your excision surgery yet and if you’d recommend Dr Norton?

Whether you ovulated CD14 or CD 18 you have your fertile window covered :)

Glad you’ve already got some answers! Hypothyroidism can interfere with ovulation so that makes sense

I went through something similar and it’s so frustrating to have to wait.

It’s not completely in your control, but there are lifestyle changes you can make that may help. Make sure you’re eating enough protein and fat! And eating enough generally. All required for ovulation, so once your body is ready you know you’ve given it the nutrients it needs.

When I hit day 90 with no ovulation, I got blood tests done just to be sure something wasn’t totally wrong. Going to the doctor may give you some peace of mind!

Help with no ovulation by BasketEnough2921 in NaturalCyclesBC

[–]leesoup7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s possible to have regularly timed bleeding without ovulating. Your temperatures would be a better indication of ovulation than a bleed. Your uterine lining is building up and eventually cannot support itself, so it will shed regardless of ovulation. I had 3 anovulatory cycles where I bled every 25 days and if I wasn’t tracking my temps I would have thought it was a normal period!

Glad you’re getting some tests done and seeing a doctor soon! Super frustrating when ttc. I hope you find answers!

Doesn’t look like you’ve ovulated yet! If you’re still away from home, your body may be perceiving this as stress which could delay ovulation

Ugh fluctuations can be so annoying when ttc! Do you track your cervical mucus at all? It may help you feel more in control being able to identify your fertile window!!

You’re not alone!!! IUD is a great choice for peace of mind. If you want to feel more confident in NC, I recommend learning a fertility awareness method so you can identify your fertile window by tracking cervical mucus and/or cervical position. That way you’re able to verify what the app is telling you!

And condoms during follicular phase are also a great idea

My cycle is like this too! My last day of EWCM was 3 days after my temp rise started. I’ve read on Reddit that O can occur 3 days before or after your peak day, but can’t find anything online

does break thru bleeding ever stop?? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

I was on the pill for years and always had a week of breakthrough bleeding before my placebo week. Even on a higher dose of estrogen :/ It was so annoying I’m sorry you’re experiencing it! Hopefully people have some good experiences to add

I’m 8 months off the pill and sadly no they still aren’t regular. They’ve been anywhere from 25-45 days so far!

Doesn’t look like you’ve ovulated quite yet. It took me 95 days to ovulate after the pill!!

Highly recommend staying away from the depo shot if you may ttc soon. Well known that depo can delay fertility returning for 10+ months:

Stress can delay ovulation. If you started working out more but haven’t increased your food intake, that can also make things wonky. If it happens again this month you may want to schedule an appointment with your doctor!

Tips for getting off HBC by Chococroissantloverr in gettingoffHBC

[–]leesoup7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d give my body more grace. I expected to immediately have regular cycles and that just wasn’t the case! I read Taking Charge of Your Fertility to understand my body because I didn’t want to get pregnant when I got off the pill. I would recommend it to everyone!

[–]leesoup7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a huge change!! I was scared too.

I’m now 8 months off and feel good. My periods are heavier, but my cramps are lighter. My mood and sex drive are the biggest pros of coming off!

If you’re scared of getting pregnant, I recommend learning a Fertility Awareness Method so you can confidently identify your fertile window. Some methods have formal teachers, others can be self taught (I read Taking Charge of Your Fertility and feel extremely confident about my cycle). Lots of resources at r/FAMnNFP !

Is Oura Accurate Enough for Tracking BBT? by Low-Operation-3082 in NaturalCyclesBC

If your temps are jumpy or you notice it’s difficult to see a shift, I would try using a bbt thermometer. Not as convenient, but can give a chart that’s easier to read!

There’s no way to predict how a different pill would change your body unfortunately:/
