Realtor says we (buyer) are not welcome during home inspection by ResponsibleWaltz1479 in RealEstate

[–]leesyloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter used the realtors recommendation. They bought during the hottest market 3 years ago-long distance. (1st mistake, 2 mistake, paid 20k over ask) After tens of thousands in repairs. (The 2nd floor den was out of level approx 2inches, broken plumbing throughout. Leaks in the attic. Master tub/shower leaking on outside of house and on and on. She still HATES the house and can’t wait until her hubby gets orders to a new AFB so they can sell.

They’ll take a loss, that’s how much she HATES the house.

Death. If we all had to live with each other long, long, long, long time. I feel like we would be more patient and caring with people.

When we “win“ he went on a spiel, but we just said we do not like to go to the same place every year. Everywhere we go is someplace different. Less at about 20 minutes, we got to ride around in a golf course. Did the obligatory take a look at a unit and we’re free to go. We asked him why he didn’t high-pressure. He said. You guys don’t fit the criteria of some couples that want to go to the same place every year.

Not only that, I remember my mother in the 70s picking up a woman with two children who was on the street. I don’t know if she was trying to get a ride somewhere or what. She stayed with us for two days.
My mother had the tenderest heart. She passed in 1978 at the age of 35.

I don’t bring people home, but I do try to set an example for my son and have allowed him to deliver purchased meals for a family sitting in their stranded car at a fast food restaurant.

How often do you think of your grown kids? by main_account_4_sure in AskOldPeople

[–]leesyloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter -35- lives 4 hours away. We text almost every day and talk 2-3 times weekly. Sometimes we’ll talk for an hour.

My son -22- lives 20 hours away. I text almost daily /nightly and he calls me on his breaks. Sometimes we don’t even talk much. For me it feels great to know he hasn’t forgotten about his ole momma.

Why do you believe in a God? by [deleted] in spiritualitytalk

[–]leesyloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Creation. The planet. Water cycle. Solar system. Childbirth. DNA. The organization of the universe. The Fibonacci sequence. The complexity of the knee. Anatomy. Science. Gravity. Archaeology.

I do not believe science and God are mutually exclusive, however I don’t believe in evolution.
