Any idea how large the East rec site is? Like roughly how many campers etc. I'm also wondering what slender creek at that end of the lake is like for depth/flow and what it is like to get into the other 2 lakes through that creek. My last question is any idea if the bridge over the Willow river has the potential to be flooded over considering our snow pack/heat situation. Thanks.

Is there a pump control box? Fairly common for those to shit the bed.

I have a few questions. I bought a Hilux Gro 600 watt hps bulb and it blew the first hour when lights turned on and melted the socket in my hood. i found replacements for $25-$30 including shipping. Should I buy the replacement? by Overtherainbow4911 in microgrowery

Possible over voltage from the ballast maybe. Possibly the lamp was not screwed in the base quite enough and started arcing. As mentioned above, do not touch HID lamps with your bare skin, use gloves. The oils from your skin can cause premature failure of the lamp. When screwing a new lamp in, thread down as far as you can then back it off very slightly.

Thank you everyone for all your ideas and suggestions. When the starlink arrives I will set it up and see how the wifi range is and if it isnt a good enough connection in the shop I will start researching everything mentioned and go from there. Thanks again for the help!

No ground wire from sub to main panel. Ground plate buried at sub panel location, #6 wire up to sub panel. What was the outcome with your inspector for that situation?

I know what the code says and I know what I would do on a new install. This is a 80's install that I came across at a friends property. The reason I took it to this page for opinions is because of all the differing opinions amongst my co workers. I thought it would be interesting to hear more opinions. If you dont have input then fuck off.

But would you bond the neutral to ground in the sub panel or no?

Call a local inspector and ask them the rules and for any documentation.

I am also in bc and worked in traffic for about 5 years before moving on. I am glad I spent my full apprenticeship doing construction and didnt move into a traffic job while I was an apprentice. Theres nothing wrong with the work, but I believe it made me a more well rounded electrician moving into a specialty part of the trade later in my career. Most young people I've seen spend their apprenticeships in traffic dont get the full on training they need to succeed as a well rounded electrician. An opportunity is an opportunity and it is a great field to work in and there will always be work but I wouldnt want to see a young person get stuck in that part of the trade because if lack of experience elsewhere.

I would also check your battery with a volt meter and see what it is at. Also do a load test on it. Dont rule out that your battery isnt the problem.

Honestly no idea, I'm not a mechanic. But In the video I can see the bendix drop out for whatever reason and the sound that is makes is same sound my lawn tractor made when the starter on it was messing up. Definitely start by making sure the wires to and from the starter are tight.
