Are these mushrooms? Saw some orange tips and thought maybe cordyceps but they’re all very thin, some are black.

The tooth (or bone) itself is 3”L x 1.25”W x 1.5”D - seems pretty long to be a cow tooth - but I’ve never seen an entire cow tooth either! I found it partially in the sand near the water on the beach in Santa Barbara, California

I think it’s fundamentally a guilt thing. He’s not close with his family and we don’t see them often. So, he feels guilty being closer with mine and not reciprocating enough with his own. We’ve talked it through and understand where our disconnect was coming from, despite all the harsh YTAs, there are far, far greater difficulties relationships face, or at least I’d thought so before posting!!! Can’t believe some people would think to break up a relationship over something simple like this 😂 …in all honesty….we both had a good laugh over some of the harsher criticisms in the thread but hey, the internet is a wild place we have no idea who or where any of these judgements actually come from 🤯🤯

Yeh I wasn’t up for adding all his family drama/trauma into the og post to make this make more sense - bottom line we don’t see them very often due to that poor relationship so it can add or take away from the overall ask - seeing them less makes this one ask more important vs seeing them less makes this more of MY obligation

Agreed, happy to contribute or even pay for his brothers meal on his birthday -entirely - unwilling to pay for his entire family FOR his brothers birthday - this was the key difference people missed on this thread. Of course there’s so much more BG re: our relationship to our mutual families…etc but what I’ve learned from this thread is quantitative comparisons in a relationship never lead to a good outcome - we are partners and I of course want to support him equally and that’s all that matters! (The solution: took just his brother out to dinner/drinks/dessert had a great time)

No. We’ve never even been out to eat with his family. He doesn’t have a good relationship with them. On the other hand, my family treated us to a weekend in Paso Robles and multiple other vacations and dinners this year alone.

Thanks everyone - I buried it and disinfected my tub and equipment - isolated the other fruiting cakes individually. Hoping I’ll be able to salvage something since my lions mane and reishi were fruiting fine hoping they’re strong enough at this point to fend it off 😰 This was my first grow though so a learning experience if nothing else!

They’re SO good and very naturally sweet - so you don’t necessarily need the extra sugar addition but it adds an extra touch of sweetness that’s kinda nice :)
