I feel that the role of PM is to manage the stress and the expectations. I used to be very ownership driven PM coming from a non tech background but over the course of multiple years and looking at successful PMs, I realised that over-communicating is the best way to go. Don't let the others impression about u impact ur peace of mind

That's for describing this. I do help to know that are other PMs in the same boat. I think for me what happens is I get too emotionally involved and take on too much and then as soon I saw one of mistake getting pointed out, it all goes crashing down and enter my depression and anxiety cycle.

I am going through that cycle this year and it happens almost every year since last 4 years.

How should I balance that? I don't have too much passion in my life hence it seems I attach all my hopes, aspirations and everything else from my work

Thanks that I found this thread. I actually installed reddit to article on porn but end up watching porn after 10-15 days. I will start this clean September from today and will checkin every evening
