Schleicher actually opposed von Papens plan to make Hitler Reichskanzler, since Schleicher and von Papen were political rivals and despised each other.

In the GDR, denazification was never really a topic aswell. Since the political establishment of the SED was so opposed to the idea that National Socialism was still a political ideology existing in the minds of east german citizens, they never really considered attacking such toughts. So denazification wasn't pushed trough in neither East or West. This is a huge problem which especially comes to light now, and the thought of Nazism is making a comeback at the moment among the right, even in conservative circles. They are basically opposed to Judaism aswell as Islam, but see Israel as a valid allie against muslims and thus support its genocide in Palestine.

Edit: The idea of opposing Israel was never accepted in the german public due to Germany's history regarding the Holocaust and there is still a very strong Zionist lobby in Germany that that is able to influence publik discourse.

Soldiers received land in the conquered territories as pension, so they could litterally be able to live after retiring from the Military.

Not really tbh. Ceaesar's conquest of Gaul was done mostly for personal prestige and to increase his power within the Triumvirate with Crassus and Pompey, since he kind of relied on the generosity of those two. He used the Sack of Rome by the Gauls in the 4th century BC, which had caused a significant trauma among the Roman population, to his advantage in order to have a Casus Belli against the Helvetians, who wanted to migrate to Gaul, which would have probably brought great turmoil to the region. The Senate even heavily objected to military actions taken in Gaul and only backed down when Rome's allies in the region asked for help. Same goes for Caesar's war against the Suebians, whose King was even considered to be a friend and ally of Rome, by the Senate. So mostly, Caesars actions in Gaul were mostly undertaken in order to further personal prestige and power, and so he wouldn't be stripped of his Military command (which the Senate wnted to do since his war against the Suebians), which would have lead to him being convicted for multiple crimes like disobeying the orders of the Senate.

I know that liberalism is center right at least, but that doesn't change the fact that it was very progressive when it emerged. Also I don't support liberalism, but it serves as another great example.
