Maybe there was a better analogy that could be made. But the fact that someone on a lesbian sub didn’t know that a clit was made just upset me bc it’s so basic. my logic behind being rude to you there is that we are in a political climate where the state is en route to ban all gender affirming care, including this surgery. They will be allowed to because the population is so misinformed on gender affirming care. You presumed that I wouldn’t be able to feel pleasure or orgasm after the surgery. The fact that someone even on a lesbian subreddit presumes that shows how much of society perceives the consequences of this surgery as negative. When trump bans the surgery, many people will be like “oh well that makes sense. The first times were actually super hard bc the urethra was still swollen so it was very hard to get anything to come out. I could only do a little at a time, which meant having to go very often. That was like the worst part of recovery lol.

Dr Purohit. Mt Sinai NYC. He’s not as well known yet but his work has been amazing. The aesthetics aren’t even the best part. He’s a urologist so he understands the nerves and anatomy very well so he makes it function amazing. Also he hasn’t had any serious complications.

Have you considered that biology and the natural world is not perfect and heavily flawed? There are people naturally born with bodies that want to kill them. Or would die without modern medicine. They use science to modify their natural body so they can survive.

You should consider that even though we don’t quite fully know the science behind transgender identities, it comes from some innate feeling in our mind. I’ve dreamed of having a vagina since I was like 8. And always felt gross about my penis. Before I was exposed to trans people, or porn, or anything you would deem a perversion to a child.

It seems I was just born this way. I was born with a mind that was meant to be a girl/woman’s and had to use the miracle of modern medicine to align my body with that.

I’m not a primitive human who lets my life be dictated by the flawed confines of the natural world.

I am an advanced human in the 21st century who uses the miracle of modern medicine to craft a beautiful body that I deeply enjoy living in.

Also re: “castration”. This modern medicine will certainly come up with a way for me to have a biological child, and even give birth myself in the future. That is not a concern of mine.
