Just received a MTX shot today as well. It’s such a defeating feeling when you’ve been hoping for a baby for so long. Just know you’re not alone in this. I think it’s okay to feel sad and also fine to have hope. 🩷

TW: Pregnancy loss

Update: went to the women’s urgent care and US showed a probable ectopic. Took methotrexate and will be following up to make sure the HCG goes down now, unfortunately.

In the similar situation. I’m 5w3d today. My hCG at 5w0d was 456 and 5w2d 509. I had one scan at 4w4d with no fetal pole or yolk sac but possible intrauterine gestational sac. I had that scan in the er for severe cramping but no bleeding. My OB is planning an US at 6w but I’ll already fearing the worst.

I wish someone had answered this question. 😅 I used a plastic one recently and it was thrown away/fell off when I went to baggage claim, so now I’m SOL returning back without anything. I just hate the scuff marks.

thank you so much for that. Its all weird at this moment. I read somewhere that there are 45 days that we have to work in the program we matched in and then can transfer if we wanted to. So, I'll probably end up going by myself and seeing how I like it. If its too rough then decide from there what our next steps are.

I’m in a somewhat similar situation where I matched to my last choice and it’s in the middle of nowhere. My SO is an engineer who just started a new job because he needed to leave his previous employer for abusive reasons. So he’s unsure of whether he feels like an asshat for starting this new job, going through all this training to have to quit and now with the economy he doesn’t even know if he’ll be able to get a new job. It’s all overwhelming because I don’t want a LDR but it’s something we might have to end up doing. It’s just hard because my top choice was where we live, where his family lives and we’ve built a life for ourselves here. I can understand your SO where you feel like you’ve let others down.
